I love the 'old' Steve Martin, I mean the Steve Martin from the Planes, Trains and Automobiles and 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels'(a personal favourite) era. I think it was Father of The Bride that turned him into ''the white-haired guy that isn't funny anymore''. They're my random thoughts anyway. :)

Yay! Planes, Trains and Automobiles is my favourite comedy ever too! Waaaaaa! I've watched it so many times I can't even remember. And the end always makes me cry.... but it's fantastic! You clearly have very good taste, and you've got yourself a great diary here.

I think I was like ten or something when John Candy died, but I was really upset. It wasn't big news was it? bastards. I think that was mainly based on Uncle Buck and Planes Trains and Automobiles.. but we Pritchards were big fans :).
